EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Do I need to be strong, flexible, and in good shape before starting?
No – You do not need to be strong, flexible, or in particularly good shape before you start training in Just Flow. However, after you start training in Just Flow consistently you will get in the best shape of your life!
Why do people learn Just Flow?
The two key reasons why people learn Just Flow is to improve their flexibility and breathing to complement their martial arts training.
Improved flexibility increases the range & power of your kicks, punches and grappling techniques as well as reduces the potential for over-extension injuries. Improved core strength also increases kicking power, punching power and grappling & submission strength.
Breathing is very important in fight stamina. Being able to control the pace of the fight relies on your ability to control the pace of your heart beat. Slow breathes throughout a fight will allow you to store energy for short bursts, increasing your overall endurance. Furthermore, stress can be reduced through breathing and being able to control your flight or fight reactions by calming down the body, mind and spirit is basically martial arts in a nutshell.
What are the health benefits of Just Flow?
The movements in Just Flow stimulate blood flow and heart rate, creating a more healthy body by caring for many organs, and the warmth in the muscles makes them more limber and easy to stretch. The breathing exercises (pranayama) in Just Flow are very good for the body as well.
