How did you get started in Martial Arts?
We have a strong martial arts tradition in my family, and I was massively influenced through my brother and watching him compete professionally and win some major Victorian titles.
How did you decide on your chosen Martial Art?
I have trained in a few different martial arts before and I thought what better then to combine all of my training into one sport so I took up Mixed Martial Arts so I can have the best of everything.
What was your first experience like at Legends MMA?
My first experience was amazing! The MMA instructor Chris took the time to get to know me and during my first session I instantly felt the team environment where everyone is training together. Everyone at the studio from the trainers to the students were all really friendly.
What is your favourite thing about Legends MMA?
Legends MMA has experienced instructors, and you can tell they have taken the time to put together a world class MMA schedule that will teach you new things every day…that’s my favourite thing about it!
How has your training developed with the support of the trainers and your team mates at Legends MMA?
My training is always developing and getting better and better by the day! I had previous experience in Martial Arts and Chris knows how to keep pushing me harder.
How does Martial Arts keep you motivated?
Staying loyal to the dream I have of wining competitions is what makes and keeps me motivated!
What accomplishments are you most proud of inside of the gym?
Learning new things by the day are accomplishments I’m proud of – perfecting a new drill, technique or combo gives me a huge rush!
How has taking up Martial Arts changed your life outside the gym?
Martial Arts keeps me humble! Being humble is the greatest asset for self-improvement because it enables you to to continue to learn from everyone you and sets your life up for success.
What advice would you give anyone looking to try Martial Arts?
Definitely give it a go. Just dive in and get started now. You never know how much you will enjoy it until you try it.
